Detailed view of reference project
In the detailed view of the reference project the-roses.de, we developed a warm, trust-focused web presence for “the roses” — a personal marriage and partner agency that Thomas Pleier has been running since 1983. Unlike algorithm-driven dating platforms, the business is built on personal contact, discretion and hand-picked introductions. The website had to reflect exactly that: no public member profiles, no self-registration, no data-hungry funnel. Instead, the site presents a small, curated selection of anonymised introductions, explains the three-step process from the first phone call through to ongoing support, and guides visitors towards a single clear action — a free, confidential initial conversation. The target audience are people in the Swabian Alb, Upper Swabia and the Lake Constance region who are looking for a serious, long-term partnership — often at a stage of life where privacy matters more than reach.

Our services
The-roses.de is a WordPress-based website with a custom-developed theme, fully responsive and optimised for readability and fast loading times on all devices — including for an audience that frequently browses on tablets and larger smartphone displays. The design relies on generous typography, calm spacing and a soft, romantic colour and imagery language, conveying warmth and seriousness rather than the tech aesthetic typical of dating platforms.
The introductions are managed in a structured, easy-to-maintain content system: each entry consists of a photo, a short description, an identification code (e.g. RD #1046 / RH #01) and a personal quote — deliberately without names, contact details or publicly searchable profiles. The owner can add, update or remove introductions himself, entirely without technical knowledge.
Conversion is handled through direct, low-barrier contact paths: click-to-call phone numbers, a mobile number and a confidential contact form. The site is GDPR-compliant with a clear privacy policy and imprint, uses SSL encryption, and follows SEO best practices with a strong regional focus on search terms around the Allgäu, Lake Constance and Vorarlberg.
